Ladies Fellowship

To encourage women in their faith and action through fellowship, prayer and reading God’s Word for the enhancement of the life, fellowship and mission of “Church in the Trees” - Morisset Uniting and the Morisset community

Ladies’ Fellowship meets at 9.45am on the 1st Tuesday of the month. It is affiliated with the NSW Synod Adult Fellowship and members support Rallies organized by The Hunter Presbytery.

Ladies Fellowship outreach includes but is not limited to, organising a range of activities for the congregation and the community. Such as Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer research; Regular Outings for all; Samaritan’s Purse-‘Operation Christmas Child’. Members also demonstrate hospitality by sponsoring and catering for church and community events.

WHALE WATCHING

Friday 26th June. A small group of us travelled to d’Albora Marine Nelson Bay. After the obligatory Covid-19 cleansing and sign in, we boarded Moonshadow cruise’s “Hinchinbrook Explorer” and sailed around 10:00am. The vessel was licenced for 260 passengers – but only carrying around 50 due to Covid regulations, Day was cool, bright and sunny, with light wind and a slight swell. Closure a Huge Loss

“At a time when public spaces and ways to gather as a community are being increasingly privatised, the loss of Morisset Country Club (“Golf club game over”, Lakes Mail, May 23) is a huge blow to the growing area. Golf, bowls, food, live music, functions and the RSL sub-branch reflect the value of community gathering space where people find enjoyment and belonging.
